Our research aims to comprehensively assess the potential effects of genetic lipid-lowering medications on a range of lung-related diseases (LRD), including small cell lung cancer (SCLC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF),pulmonary edema(PE), and pneumonia. We strive to understand the possible impact of genetic lipid-lowering medications on the risk of developing these specific lung diseases. This study is anticipated to offer novel insights into the influence of genetically regulated lipid-lowering medications onLRD.
