资源简介:

One table with, for each of 19,467 human protein-coding genes and 562 mammal assemblies (one per species), the TOGA gene status, the number of orthologous loci and the number of processed-pseudogene (retrocopy) loci, which TOGA stores in separate files. Joined to AnAge lifespan and body mass, a public mammal tree, two assembly-quality flags (false duplications, sparse retrocopy scans) and a per-assembly outlier ranking. Built to look at Peto's paradox: the elephant TP53 expansion (22 retrocopies in the African elephant, 20 in the Asian) is the documented positive control, and known gene losses in cetaceans are checked by a test script. The README says what the table cannot show, including that cross-species correlation misses single-lineage expansions. Built by AI agents on a home computer and reviewed by a human before publication. Part of the Paper Rerun project.
