Overview

This is a deposit of the code and data used to produce the results examined in the article Modelling invasion potential of Bighead Carp under climate change: effects of seasonal temperatures on a recruitment bottleneck, published in Biological Invasions.

DATA

The data included are:

empirical mean daily water temperature series (℃) for the Nipigon, St. Louis, Genesee, Vermillion, and Thames rivers in Ontario, Canada (baseline time period)

daily mean air temperature series (℃) projected by an ensemble of general circulation models under the SSP5-8.5 climate change scenario for the Nipigon, St. Louis, Genesee, and Vermillion rivers for the time period of 2015–2100

CODE

The scripts included perform the routines of:

downloading each individual climate model's projections for each tributary for each year

reformatting and consolidating projected air temperature data

validating and converting projections to water temperatures for use in simulations

loading a library of functions for running the model

running the model and exporting the results
