Value added by SMEs in the Benelux 2023, by country

This statistic displays the value added by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg (Benelux) in 2023, by country (in million euros). According to the DIW estimates, there were roughly 1.45 million SME enterprises in non-financial business sectors in the Netherlands in 2023. Together, they were responsible for an added value of approximately 309 billion euros, more than the SMEs in Belgium and Luxembourg combined.
