这组数据是1974-2016年期间珠峰北坡绒布流域三条绒布冰川及表碛覆盖冰川三个时间段的年均冰储量变化数据集,采用ESRI 矢量多边形格式存储,是由三个阶段的DEM高程差数据DHPRISM2006-DEM1974(DH2006-1974)、DHSRTM2000-DEM1974(DH2000-1974)、DHASTER2016-SRTM2000(DH2016-2000),结合冰川覆盖专题矢量数据、冰密度 850 ± 60 kg m−3计算而来。DHPRISM2006-DEM1974, or DH2006-1974, 是2006年PRISM2006 数据和1974年DEM1974之间的高程差,即DH2006-1974 =PRISM2006 – DEM1974。PRISM2006是由2006年12月4日的光学立体像对遥感数据ALOS/PRISM生成。DEM1974是由我国早期1:50,000地形图生成的,这两期DEM都采用横轴墨卡托投影、Krasovsky1940椭球体。PRISM2006与DEM1974配准后,非冰川区高程数据精度为±0.24 m a-1。DHSRTM2000-DEM1974(DH2000-1974)是,2000年SRTM与DEM1974的高程差,两期DEM数据配准后,非冰川区高程数据精度为±0.03 m a-1。DHASTER2016-SRTM2000(DH2016-2000)是基于Brun et al. This dataset contains annual average ice mass change data for three Rongbuk glaciers and debris-covered glaciers in the Rongbuk Basin on the northern slope of Mount Qomolangma (Everest) across three periods from 1974 to 2016, stored in ESRI vector polygon format. It is derived from three phases of DEM elevation difference datasets: DHPRISM2006-DEM1974 (abbreviated as DH2006-1974), DHSRTM2000-DEM1974 (abbreviated as DH2000-1974), and DHASTER2016-SRTM2000 (abbreviated as DH2016-2000), combined with glacier coverage thematic vector data and an ice density of 850 ± 60 kg m⁻³.
DHPRISM2006-DEM1974 (DH2006-1974) refers to the elevation difference between the 2006 PRISM data and the 1974 DEM (DEM1974), i.e., DH2006-1974 = PRISM2006 – DEM1974. PRISM2006 was generated from the optical stereo pair remote sensing data ALOS/PRISM acquired on December 4, 2006. DEM1974 was produced from early Chinese 1:50,000 topographic maps. Both DEM datasets adopt the Transverse Mercator projection and the Krasovsky 1940 ellipsoid. After co-registration of PRISM2006 and DEM1974, the elevation data accuracy in non-glacial areas reaches ±0.24 m a⁻¹.
DHSRTM2000-DEM1974 (DH2000-1974) is the elevation difference between the 2000 SRTM DEM and DEM1974. After co-registration of the two DEM datasets, the elevation data accuracy in non-glacial areas is ±0.03 m a⁻¹.
DHASTER2016-SRTM2000 (DH2016-2000) is based on the ice surface elevation difference data published by Brun et al. (2017), and was obtained using the same data processing methods and workflows as DH2006-1974 and DH2000-1974, with an elevation data accuracy of ±0.08 m a⁻¹ in non-glacial areas.
The data items included in the dataset are as follows: Shape_Area (glacier area, m²), Name (glacier name), EC74_00 (average annual ice surface elevation change of each glacier from 1974 to 2000, m a⁻¹), EC00_16 (annual ice surface elevation change of each glacier from 2000 to 2016, m a⁻¹), EC74_2006 (average annual ice surface elevation change of each glacier from 1974 to 2006, m a⁻¹), MB74_00 (average annual glacier mass balance of each glacier from 1974 to 2000, m w.e. a⁻¹), MB00_16 (average annual glacier mass balance of each glacier from 2000 to 2016, m w.e. a⁻¹), MB74_2006 (average annual glacier mass balance of each glacier from 1974 to 2006, m w.e. a⁻¹), MC74_2000 (annual ice mass change of each glacier from 1974 to 2000, m³ w.e. a⁻¹), MC00_2016 (annual ice mass change of each glacier from 2000 to 2016, m³ w.e. a⁻¹), MC74_2006 (annual ice mass change of each glacier from 1974 to 2006, m³ w.e. a⁻¹), Uncerty_EC (maximum error range of ice surface elevation change for each glacier, m a⁻¹), Uncerty_MB (maximum error of glacier mass balance for each glacier, m w.e. a⁻¹), Uncerty_MC (maximum error of ice mass change for each glacier, m³ w.e. a⁻¹), MinUnty_EC (minimum error range of ice surface elevation change for each glacier), MinUnty_MB (minimum error of glacier mass balance for each glacier, m w.e. a⁻¹), MinUnty_MC (minimum error of ice mass change for each glacier, m³ w.e. a⁻¹). This dataset can be applied to studies on glacier changes, hydrological and water resource effects of glacier ablation, and their climatic drivers in the Himalayas and High Asia.
