From Crisis to Grievance: Object-Specific Threat Framing in South Korean Conservative Media

Threats rarely speak for themselves. Instead, they are interpreted, evaluated, and stabilized through media discourse over time. This study examines how conservative media in South Korea have framed two salient external actors, North Korea and China, focusing on the evaluative logic through which threats are narrated.
