The material and energy cycle of terrestrial ecosystem is inseparable from vegetation, and the change of vegetation cover has a profound impact on ecological environment. Current studies mostly focus on the response analysis of NDVI, climate factors and human factors, without considering the influence of nonlinear factors such as topography and soil characteristics. Therefore, the monitoring of vegetation cover change and the response of its influencing factors are of great significance in the study of terrestrial ecosystems. Data set of NDVI spatial distribution pattern and its influencing factors in Xinjiang from 2000 to 2021 Based on GEE platform, MODIS remote sensing data and ERA5-Land Monthly Averaged data set were obtained, and TIF data were processed into numerical data by ArcGIS software. Python toolkit was used to preprocess it, such as cleaning, normalization and so on. Finally, the numerical data containing 14 fields and 2756 data was formed. The Kriging interpolation method was used to interpolate the acquired data, and 13 spatial interpolation maps of influence factors were obtained. This dataset can be used to model the relationship between vegetation cover change and its influencing factors in Xinjiang, provide basic data for different influencing factors on NDVI changes, and further provide scientific basis for agricultural technology and environmental development and management in this region.
