ATN 053 F23 Sexual Abuse History Dataset in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Risk Behavior in HIV Positive Female Adolescents

Age when participant first had sex willingly, frequency of specific types of unwanted sexual encounters, whether she considered these encounters to be sexual abuse, other situations she considered to be sexual abuse, and details of any counseling she received as a result
Study Description
A qualitative study that explored the interrelationships between 1) abuse and sexual risk behavior, and 2) abuse, sexual risk behavior, and substance use in 18 to 24 year-old females with behaviorally-acquired HIV infection. An open-ended in-depth interview, occurring over one to two sessions, was conducted with each participant.
