Tutor data for Spring 2009 ELI self-explanation study. Students were randomly assigned to one of two tutoring conditions: practice only and explanation-selection only. In the practice only condition, students chose an article from a dropdown menu to complete the sentence. In the explanation-selection condition, students were given a sentence with the article already completed and chose the rule that best explained the choice.
This dataset contains learning (tutor) data only. See other datasets for pre and posttest data.
