资源简介:
A Heritage Conservation Area (HCA) is a designated geographic zone within a municipality that holds significant historical, cultural, architectural, or social value. An HCA is an area recognized for its heritage value to the province, a community, or Indigenous peoples. The designation aims to protect, preserve, and enhance the heritage character of buildings, landscapes, and streetscapes within the area. In BC, HCAs are established under the Local Government Act and are typically described and governed through a municipality’s Official Community Plan (OCP).
