Ecological Effects of Lignite in Goat Manure Composting: Microbial Community Structure and Self-assembly Mechanism

Aerobic composting technology, as an efficient method for treating livestock and poultry manure, has its core in utilizing the rapid succession and synergy of microbial populations to achieve the biodegradation of waste and the dynamic biological process driven by self - heating. By co - composting lignite and sheep manure at three different proportions (0% (CK), 5% (T1) and 10% (T2)), the effects of lignite addition on the composting process, microbial community structure and community self - assembly mechanisms were evaluated.
