Mechanism of nitrite enhancing denitrification of strain EN-J1 by transcriptome analysis

This work showed that nitrite significantly improved the rate of nitrate removal. In order to better understand the mechanism of nitrite-enhanced nitrate degradation, a comparative analysis of transcriptome response in E0 (control) and E20 (experimental) groups in the strain EN-J1 within 12 h was conducted. This study is expected to provide new implications for the development of more efficient and sustainable nitrogen removal strategies in the future.
