Whole mitogenome amplification and sequencing from ticks (Argasidae, Ixodidae, Nuttalliellidae).

We sought to develop a strategy to generate whole mitogenome amplicons from individual ticks for sequencing using Oxford Nanopore Technologies. This would be a low-cost method for generating mitogenomes from ticks and potentially other metazoans.
