资源简介:
Clinical isolates of the human fungal pathogen Candida albicans show significant variation in their ability to undergo in vitro filamentation. In this study, we show that Nrg1, a key repressor of filamentation and filament specific gene expression in standard laboratory strain, has strain dependent functions, especially during infection. In this experiment we characterize the expression profile of Candida albicans clinical isolates and their respective nrg1 mutant strains by NanoString. The probe set contains 186 environmentally responsive gene sets. 3 biological replicates (expection is 94015, in which only 2 biological replicates were used) were used to examine the expression of gene of interest.
