Nanopore sequencing and assembly of Brassica nigra genome strain:CN115125

The genome of B. nigra (CN115125) was sequenced using a nanopore sequencing using MinION sequencer followed by scaffolding with Hi-C sequencing. Error correction with illumina short reads was revealed about 99.3% based accuracy. Among the 535 Mb total assembly > 90% of the scaffolds were anchored to 8 pseudo-molecules. Annotation revealed over 61000 genes were annotated and expression of genes with repeats were comparatively analyzed using RNA-seq and whole genome bisulfite sequence data.
