Simulation of the Passive Separation of Miscible Fluid Mixtures in Two-Dimensional Micro-Channels with Uneven Wetting Conditions

This dataset contains the results of CFD simulations investigating the passive separation of miscible mixtures in microchannels using the Shan-Chen Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM). The study models two fluids with physical properties similar to water and ethanol in a 2D channel, focusing on surface forces at the nanoscale. Static and flow conditions were examined under varying fluid-fluid and fluid-solid interaction coefficients, relaxation times, and channel wall spacing. Additionally, the dataset includes simulations with solid posts distributed in patterns, enhancing the density jump between the upper and lower channel halves.
