Probiotics Lactiplantibacillus plantarum TXZ 2-26 prevent high blood pressure

Mounting evidence suggests a close relationship between gut microbiota dysbiosis, folate deficiency, and the development of H-type hypertension. Therefore, we selected the high folate-producing L. plantarum TXZ 2-26 and the low folate-producing strain F4-1 as a negative control to investigate the antihypertensive mechanism. Through a multi-omics analysis of fecal and plasma samples from 32 mice, we explored the impact of L. plantarum TXZ 2-26 on gut microbiota and its connection to hypertension.
