study on Soil Microfood Web in Karst Tiankeng

Karst tiankengs are isolated geomorphological units with unique microenvironments that give rise todistinctive ecological habitats. This project aims to investigate the structure and function of soil micro-foodwebs within tiankengs, with a focus on communities such as nematodes, bacteria, fungi, and protozoa. Byanalyzing biodiversity, trophic interactions, and the influence of environmental factors, we seek tounderstand how tiankeng ecosystems sustain belowaround biological stability and nutrient cycling.Comparative studies with surrounding karst areas will further reveal how spatial isolation and microclimaticconditions affect soil ecologica processes.
