This dataset delivers data-driven decision support for the online promotion of on-demand home e-commerce systems through systematic ROI analysis. For the developing company (software developer), it enables precise assessment of the return on investment (ROI) of each online promotion channel, identification of high-conversion premium channels to increase investment, as well as adjustment or termination of investment in inefficient channels. For other relevant enterprises, it facilitates accurate grasping of industry promotion trends and timely adjustment of marketing strategies. For advertisers, the ROI analysis results provide a precise basis for ad placement, allowing them to optimize ad creatives, targeting strategies and bidding mechanisms to enhance ad conversion rates. 1. Data Collection and Preprocessing: (1) Data Collection: Collect data fields related to the online promotion effectiveness of the company's on-demand home e-commerce system, including collection time period, total promotion cost, channel code, independent cost of the channel (in RMB), number of new orders from the channel, new sales revenue of the channel (in RMB), and average order value (AOV) (in RMB per order). (2) Data Preprocessing: Eliminate invalid channel data where the cost is greater than 0 but the number of new orders is 0 or the new sales revenue is 0. 2. Channel Revenue and ROI Calculation: (1) Channel Revenue Calculation: Channel Revenue = New Sales Revenue of the Channel; (2) ROI Calculation: ROI = (Channel Revenue - Independent Cost of the Channel) / Independent Cost of the Channel. 3.
