Model Fit Results for 'A Survey of Model Fits Through the L/T Sequence'

In this repository, we present the forward model fit results described in "A Survey of Model Fits Through the L/T Sequence" (manuscript AAS57769R1). We include three folders of fit results: one for the fits to Cholla (Karalidi et al., 2023; Mukherjee et al., 2023) models only, another for the fits to Phoenix (Brock et al., 2021) models only, and the third for the fits to a composite Sonora model folder containing Bobcat (Marley et al., 2021), Diamondback (Morley et al., 2024), and Cholla models. Note that our code fits each object to (1) the input folder of theoretical models and (2) a folder of real archival SpeX data, which we refer to as "real" models. The "real" model fit results are included along with the theoretical model results. Each folder contains a directory for each of the 305 brown dwarfs included in our sample. The directories are named with four-digit codes. The included file "Object_Code Key.csv" can be used to match the object code to the full object name. The fit result files include: #### RM Single Best Fit.png- A plot of the spectrum of the best-fit "real" model on top of the spectrum of the object #### SM Single Best Fit.ong- A plot of the spectrum of the best-fit theoretical model on top of the spectrum of the object ####BestRMSingleFit.txt- The best-fit "real" model spectrum file ####BestSMSingleFit.txt- The best-fit theoretical model spectrum file ####unnormalized.txt- Flux-calibrated spectrum of the target object AllSMSFresults.csv- A full printout of the theoretical model fit results for the object RMSFresults.csv- A full printout of the "real" model fit results for the object SMSFtop200.csv- A printout of the theoretical model fit results, best-fit parameters printed to their own columns, only showing the top 200 models SMSFtop200HeatMap.png- The heat maps show the distribution of G_K versus pairs of model parameters for the top 200 fits to the object
