Pseudomonas BBB001 isolated from the rhizosphere of Nicotiana Glauca in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Islas Canarias, Spain, has been phenotypically and genetically characterized. The goals of the study are to test the ability of this strain to improve plant fitness on tomato and on olive trees, to demonstrate a great potential for agriculture for its ability to trigger herbaceous and woody species.
