VIDS-Fundus 1.0 Reference Implementation Metadata Package (IDRiD)

This record contains the metadata and documentation package for the VIDS-Fundus 1.0 reference implementation based on the Indian Diabetic Retinopathy Image Dataset (IDRiD), migrated to the Verified Imaging Dataset Standard (VIDS) Fundus Extension 1.0. It publishes the redistributable VIDS metadata layer, documentation, and annotation sidecars for the reference implementation. The original fundus images are intentionally not redistributed and remain available from the authoritative IDRiD source (DOI 10.21227/H25W98). The metadata layer comprises 443 fundus annotation sidecars covering a disjoint cohort of 80 grading subjects and 81 segmentation subjects, with zero overlap. The migrated metadata were independently reviewed by Princeton Medical Systems and found conformant to the VIDS-Fundus 1.0 schema. The fundus modality is declared as a custom modality code. This record documents structural conformance to the standard; it does not verify the clinical truth of any recorded value. The governing specification is the VIDS Fundus Extension Specification 1.0, archived as the companion record.
