Experiment Results

This item contains all the results collected from our empirical experiment. Note that all of them were calculated using the file "Results.json". The files "output_GroupA1.txt", "output_GroupA2.txt" and "output_GroupB.txt" contain the average values of each code quality metric, time and number of refactorings. The file "Metrics Hypothesis Tests.xlsx" contains the values used to performed the hypothesis tests. The results of the hypothesis tests can be found in the files "Hypothesis Tests - Task 2.txt", "Hypothesis Tests - Task 3 File A.txt" and "Hypothesis Tests - Task 3 File B.txt". These tests were performed using the Two Sample TTest through the python package "pingouin". Finally, the file "Results.xlsx" contains the answers to questions related to the participants' characterization, experience evaluation and usability.
