资源简介:
Little millet was domesticated in India about 5000 years ago. Historically, it has been mostly grown in India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Tetraploid little millet (2n = 4x = 36) exists. Little millet is a crucial crop for the stability of the regional food supply since it can produce consistent yields on marginal soils in semiarid and arid regions that are prone to drought. Of all the millets, little millet has arguably received the least attention. As a result, we are not aware of any molecular markers that have been created for it outside of particular single genes. Till today, there haven't been any genuinely genome-wide datasets for this species. We have tried to develop a draft genome assembly of Little Millet for the development of SSR markers.
