Lake Water Chemistry Data from ASPA 135 and ASPA 136 in the Windmill Islands

10 lake water samples collected from 5 lakes in Casey and the Windmill Islands (ASPA135 and ASPA136). Data includes major ion, isotope (strontium isotopes, stable water isotopes and stable carbon isotopes), and organic chemistry (dissolved organic carbon concentrations and ultra-high resolution dissolved organic matter composition). Sample collection, preservation, treatment and analysis was undertaken per publication McDonough et al. (2024) “Shaping DOM signatures in East Antarctic lakes: penguins, mosses, meltwater, and processing mechanisms”. Note that this file contains the summarised high resolution dissolved organic matter data (analysed by Fourier-Transform Ion Cyclotron Resonance Mass Spectrometry).
