Evidence Extraction Spreadsheet for Self-Protection Architecture Taxonomy Classification

This dataset contains the evidence extraction records produced during a systematic mapping study on self-protective software architectures. The workbook supports the classification of selected primary studies against a 19-dimensional taxonomy organized into four major parts: Approach Positioning (T1–T6), Approach Characterization (T7–T12), Architectural Impact (T13–T16), and Approach Quality (T17–T19). The dataset comprises two sheets: (1) Evidence Extraction, with 95 records linking each of the five analyzed studies (S1–S5) to each taxonomy criterion, including the extracted evidence, its location in the source document, the evidence type (Explicit, Inferred, or Implicit), and optional ambiguity annotations; and (2) Criteria, with the full taxonomy definition, criterion identifier, description, examples, and valid value options for all 19 dimensions. This artifact enables traceability from source papers to taxonomy classifications and supports reproducibility of the mapping process.
