Interview of Dan Watson, Commanding Officer of the Los Angeles Police Department's Personnel Division, about the operation of the Los Angeles Police Department's Emergency Operations Command (EOC) during the civil disturbance, and the problems encountered by the EOC, 1992 August 4. PART OF SERIES: After the violence had subsided, the Webster Commission met of a variety of public officials, law enforcement personnel, activists, and community leaders to discuss the rioting, its root causes, and the adequacy of the LAPD's response.
