NSF Arctic Data Center

The Arctic Data Center is the primary data and software repository for the Arctic section of NSF Polar Programs. The Center helps the research community to reproducibly preserve and discover all products of NSF-funded research in the Arctic, including data, metadata, software, documents, and provenance that links these together. The repository is open to contributions from NSF Arctic investigators, and data are released under an open license (CC-BY, CC0, depending on the choice of the contributor). All science, engineering, and education research supported by the NSF Arctic research program are included, such as Natural Sciences (Geoscience, Earth Science, Oceanography, Ecology, Atmospheric Science, Biology, etc.) and Social Sciences (Archeology, Anthropology, Social Science, etc.).北极数据中心（Arctic Data Center）是美国国家科学基金会（National Science Foundation，NSF）极地计划北极区域的核心数据与软件资源库。该中心助力科研社区可复现地保存并检索获取NSF资助的北极科研项目产出的全部成果，涵盖数据、元数据（metadata）、软件、文档以及关联各类资源的溯源信息（provenance）。该资源库面向NSF北极区域科研人员开放投稿权限，所提交的数据将根据贡献者的选择，采用CC-BY（知识共享署名许可）或CC0（知识共享零协议）等开放许可协议发布。所有由NSF北极科研计划资助的科学、工程与教育研究项目均可入驻该资源库，涵盖自然科学领域（地球科学、地质学、海洋学、生态学、大气科学、生物学等）与社会科学领域（考古学、人类学、社会学等）。
