资源简介:

CRESENT-365 was first introduced in the paper “AI-enabled crater-based navigation for lunar mapping” in Astrodynamics (2026). Overview: This dataset contains images produced by Adelaide University using PANGU Planet Surface Simulation Software developed by the Space Technology Centre at the University of Dundee, Scotland. CRESENT-365 is the first public dataset that emulates a year-long lunar mapping mission. Each of its 15,283 images is rendered from high-resolution digital elevation models with SPICE-derived Sun angles and Moon motion, delivering realistic global coverage, illumination cycles, and viewing geometries. The images were rendered in PANGU with high-resolution lunar DEMs from the PDS data. How to cite: Users of this dataset are requested to cite the following paper. Reference String McLeod, S. et al.
