Small IPM motor flux map from Ansys Maxwell 2D (proof of concept)

A 1,600-point dq flux-linkage map of a small 4-pole interior permanent-magnet motor from Ansys Maxwell 2D (AEDT 2025 R2 Student edition, magnetostatic), plus 20 independent off-grid FEM points and motor parameters. The dataset is a worked example of a FEM-to-surrogate-to-MTPA pipeline. The grid extends to 300 A on each dq axis while the motor peaks at 6 A. The raw CSV preserves the unscaled flux, and the pipeline’s flux scale factor of about 11.86 remains unexplained. The README gives the conventions, limitations, and Student edition context.
