Previous studies have shown that there is a close connection between constipation symptoms and gut flora disorders.In our study, knockdown of AQP8 could alleviate constipation in CKD mice by improving intestinal water-liquid transport and making feces soft and lubricated.Therefore, we investigated the effects of inhibiting AQP8 expression on the gut microbiota of CKD mice using 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequencing.
