International Bathymetric Chart of the Arctic Ocean (IBCAO) is a digital database that compiles all available bathymetric data north of 64°N, aiming to provide cartographers, researchers and institutions with detailed and accurate information on the depth and morphology of the Arctic Ocean seafloor. This dataset is incorporated as a regional compilation into the global GEBCO grid. Its latest version is 5.2, released in June 2026. The data is provided in polar stereographic projected coordinates, with the horizontal datum being WGS 84 and the vertical datum assumed to be mean sea level.
