To obtain insights about the molecular basis of critical responses to rapid rehydration, we report a full assessment of the changes in transcriptomes upon rehydration after 2 years dry and dark storage. The RNA samples from three biological replicates for transcriptome analysis were collected from macroscopic N. flagelliforme wild populations after 2 years dry and dark storage upon rehydration for 0, 0.5, 3 and 15 h under 40 µmol m-2 s-1.
