Constrainify User Study: Reference Data

This dataset accompanies the user study evaluating Constrainify, a web-based, self-service system for defining and performing data quality analysis on descriptive information on cultural heritage objects. The study was conducted as part of the AQinDa project. Eight domain experts completed two predefined tasks: (1) defining quality constraints for abstract DDB data quality requirements using LIDO 1.1 data, and (2) running a quality analysis on three LIDO XML files using the defined constraints. To document the artifacts produced during the study without publishing individual participant output, this dataset provides a reference realization of the study tasks. The included input files exemplify one valid solution and illustrate the defined constraints, and the resulting analysis report. The dataset is organized into two directories: input/: Three LIDO 1.1 XML files used as study stimuli (MonaLisa.xml, FontanaDelMoro.xml, LaPrimavera.xml), derived from official LIDO 1.1 example files and modified to include targeted data quality problems. output/: The reference output set, consisting of (a) concrete-patterns/: quality constraints as Constrainify .patternstructure files (XMI/EMF format), and (b) report.json: the corresponding quality analysis report as a JSON array.
