A Global 7% Systemic Sensitivity Floor in Gaia DR3 Audit Sample
收藏资源简介:
Description: This dataset supports a manuscript currently under review at the AAS Journals. This dataset provides the 4,205-source Audit Sample used to validate a 7% systemic sensitivity floor in the Gaia DR3 5-parameter astrometric model. By cross-matching Gaia DR3 with the 2MASS Point Source Catalog (PSC) using a strict 0.5" radius, we identify a population of "Astrometrically Masked Binaries" (AMB) that pass standard quality filters (RUWE < 1.4) despite being unresolved equal-mass systems. Key Features: Binary Ridge Identification: Highlights the -0.75 magnitude photometric offset characteristic of flux-summation in binaries. Multi-Wavelength Validation: Includes synthetic columns (\(\Delta G\), \(\Delta yK\)) and PMS candidate flags to isolate the binary signal from stellar youth. Utility: Serves as a benchmark for testing the recovery limits of future Gaia data releases (DR4/DR5). This data supports the paper: "A 7% Systemic Sensitivity Floor in Gaia DR3: Identifying Astrometrically Masked Binaries via Multi-Catalog Audits" submitted to the AAS Journals.
