Supporting data for research "A numerical investigation of wake recovery for an H- and X-shaped vertical-axis wind turbine with wake control strategies"

This is a README file for a numerical data repository on 4TU.ResearchData identified through DOI: 10.4121/13913c03-5173-48a7-8aa1-08305fa52bb0. The data supports the results presented in the manuscript titled "A numerical investigation of wake recovery for an H- and X-shaped vertical-axis wind turbine with wake control strategies". The data presented here contains planar flow field data for both the rotor types at 11 streamwise locations, as well as 2 lateral and vertical locations from the center of the rotors.<br><br>One zip file is provided entitled "Data_comparison.zip", that contains all the corresponding data used in this study. For further details, please check the markdown file 'README.md' to get detailed information on how the study data is structured and how to use it. All of these files require MATLAB R2022a or above or any tools that can read *.mat files to open and use.<br><br>
