This dataset supports the manuscript "Prediction is not prescription: An AI-to-Action Maturity framework for smart crop production." Provided as a multi-tab spreadsheet, it contains the query inventory used for the PRISMA 2020 search and citation-chaining routes; the codebook defining the terminal-output (L0–L5), coupling (C1–C5), uncertainty (U0–U3), and evidence (E0–E5) dimensions; the PRISMA screening and eligibility reconciliation; the article-level coding matrix for the 142 primary/methodological studies; the blind second-coder audit log with adjudication and reliability statistics; and the TF–IDF/K-means clustering metrics, including stability diagnostics. Together, the files allow the synthesis, coding scheme, and reported statistics to be independently checked or extended.
