DIDACTIC OPPORTUNITIES OF VIRTUAL MUSEUM TECHNOLOGIES FOR ENHANCING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF VISUAL ARTS EDUCATION

This article explores the pedagogical potential of virtual museum technologies in visual arts education. It examines the role of virtual museums as innovative digital learning environments that support the development of students’ visual thinking, aesthetic perception, artistic appreciation, and independent learning skills. Particular attention is given to the educational opportunities provided by virtual tours, 3D modeling, multimedia resources, and interactive platforms. The study demonstrates that the integration of virtual museum technologies enhances students’ ability to analyze artworks, engage with cultural heritage, and develop professional competencies.
