Field record from the interview with Varvara Malkova

Field record made during the interview in thehouse of Mrs. Varvara Malkova. Here are made comments, conclusions regarding the answers of the interviewed person to the questions, provided in the broad questionnaire, which provides general questions about the interviewed person, questions about the textile objects kept in the interviewee's house but also about the level of involvement of the person in the weaving process in the past. The questionnaire requires a description of the stages of processing wool - the raw material, an explanation of the cleaning and processing activities, an enumeration of the names of the elements of the loom and of some tools adjacent to the raw material processing techniques. Through a group of questions, an attempt is made to discover the cultural connections regarding traditional weaving with other Bulgarian villages, localities with Romanian-speaking people, etc.
