Describes two multi-institutional expeditions in 2002 and 2006 led by the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary (MBNMS) to characterize the geology and natural history of the Davidson Seamount. Addresses a management plan created for the seamount to develop resource protection, education, and research strategies for this area. This taxonomic guide reviews an inventory of benthic and mid-water organisms observed at the seamount in order to provide a baseline taxonomic characterization. 237 taxa are presented, including 15 new or undescribed species.
