Beneficial microflora from poultry gut

Isolation of probiotic microflora from the gut of poultry followed by biochemical and molecular identification of the microbes. The strains will be first screened for the susceptibility of antibiotics. The isolates will be studied for their aggregation and the adherence properties, tolerance of different range of pH, temperature and bile acids. Their inhibition or activity against important pathogens of poultry gut also will be studied. This will be followed by the optimization of mass production of the selected culture.
