Export value of lithium carbonate worldwide in 2023, by country

Chile is the world's leading exporter country of lithium carbonate (Li2CO3). In 2023, the South American country exported nearly 5.43 billion U.S. dollars. Ranking second, but by a wide margin, was China, which exported some 518.29 million U.S. dollars of Li2CO3. That year, China was the top importing country of lithium carbonate worldwide, with an import value that amounted to 6.33 billion U.S. dollars.
