We presented data on the production and characterization of three distinct monovalent antigens of H5Nx Candidate Vaccine Viruses (CVVs) from clades 2.3.2.1c (NIBRG-301), 2.3.4 (IBCDC-RG6), and 2.3.4.4b (IDCDC-RG71A). For simplicity, we referred to them as Duck/Vietnam, Anhui, and Astrakhan, respectively. Files containing raw data from the results of IgG antibodies, Hemagglutination Inhibition, Microneutralization titers, animal weight, and the statistical analysis were uploaded.We also showed data on the percentage of identity of H5 sequences –globular domain – among i) H5N1 isolates (birds and humans) and the antigenic prototypes of available H5N1, H5N6, and H5N8 CVVs with potency-testing reagents; and ii) the three CVVs produced and an human-licensed H5N1 vaccine (IDCDC-RG2).The results and conclusions from the analysis will be submitted for publication: “Production and immune response against pandemic influenza candidate vaccines as preparedness against the circulating H5N1 influenza viruses”. Raw data were generated using The Influenza Virus Resource at the NCBI, GISAID- EpiFlu, SnapGene, NCBI BLAST, Microsoft Excel, and GraphPad Prism Software, version 5.03 for Windows.
