A sufficient oxygen concentration is essential for fish growth, reproduction, and metabolism. Silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) is always challenged by hypoxia for intensive aquaculture or environmental changes, but the response to hypoxic stress in the heart of silver carp still remains relatively unknown.Hence, the transcriptome was conducted to elucidate the molecular strategies of heart for hypoxic adaption.
