HuNavSim is an open-source human navigation simulator developed by the School of Engineering, University of Pablo de Olavide, specifically designed to simulate diverse human agent navigation behaviors. This dataset includes 28 distinct navigation behaviors and their associated metrics, aiming to evaluate and develop robotic navigation systems by replicating realistic human responses. HuNavSim leverages behavior tree technology to enable more diverse and realistic simulated human behaviors, making it suitable for assessing robotic navigation performance in shared spaces, particularly when handling complex human-robot interaction scenarios.
