资源简介:
Proliferative kidney disease (PKD) is a temperature-dependent deadly disease of salmonid fishes that is caused by the myxozoan parasite Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae. In this study, the DNA samples from the kidneys of PKD infected juveniles from a wild river population of Brown trout (Salmo trutta) have been sequenced using dRAD sequencing (PstI and BamHI restriction enzymes) approach. The aim is to identify the SNPs controlling the variation in resistance (relative parasite load) and disease symptoms(low hematocrit and kidney swollenness) in PKD infected individuals.
