Educational needs and competency priorities of physician assistants in tertiary hospitals in Korea: A convergent parallel mixed-methods study

This dataset comprises the anonymised quantitative data collected for a convergent parallel mixed‑methods study investigating educational needs and competency priorities of physician assistants employed in tertiary hospitals in Korea. Included are cleaned, de‑identified survey responses, a variable codebook describing each item and coding scheme, the survey instrument, and the analysis scripts used for statistical analyses. All direct identifiers were removed and indirect identifiers minimised to reduce re‑identification risk; small cell counts have been suppressed or aggregated where necessary.
Qualitative materials (full focus‑group transcripts and interview recordings) are not included in this deposit due to participant confidentiality and consent restrictions. De‑identified exemplar quotations used to support the qualitative analysis are provided in the repository to illustrate analytic themes without compromising participant anonymity.

Access to any restricted or potentially identifying materials (e.g., full transcripts) can be considered on a case‑by‑case basis. Requests should be directed to the corresponding author and will be granted only following review and approval by the institutional review board and the execution of a data‑sharing agreement that specifies permitted uses and confidentiality obligations.
