In this study, we resequenced the MHC locus of 86 specimens (corresponding to 11 different species) belonging to the family Suidae (9 species, 67 specimens) and to the family Tayassuidae (2 species, 19 specimens). The sequences of the MHC locus were retrieved using targeted resequencing and using a capture array design from a Sus scrofa sequence.
