The Landscape of NIAID-funded Observational COVID-19 Cohort Studies - Supplemental Data (May 2023)

<strong>Short summary: </strong>A description of the process and lessons learned from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to support 58 human cohort studies funded in 2020 and 2021 that tracked COVID-19 cases. Here lives the underlying metadata for this analysis, which is in press at the American Journal of Epidemology.

<strong>S1A Table.</strong> All study metadata broken into different categories. The categories are: Abbreviated Title; Title; PI (Contact); Institution (Name); Institution (Address); Institution (Collection Center Name); Number Of Participants; Age Group; Special Population Studied (Health Care Workers/First Responders, Nursing Homes, Prisons, etc.); Participant Enrollment Site (Foreign/ Domestic); Location Of Participant Enrollment Site (Country); Institution (Collection Center Address); Location Of Participant Enrollment Site (State); Location Of Participant Enrollment Site (City); Sampling Strategy; Type Of Study (Surveillance, Transmission, Immunology, Disease Course/Severity); Begin Sampling Date; End Sampling Date; Estimated Time To Completion (Months); National Clinical Trial Identifier; Grant Or Contract Number; Center/Network; and Samples Collected. Also included are answers to a series of ‘YES/NO’ questions that describe the goals of the study.
