Catalogue of Life China in the Catalogue of Life

The Catalogue of Life China aims to collect basic information on all species occur in China including plants, animals, microorganisms and viruses. The CoL China is available online at www.sp2000.cn and as an annual CD edition. The Catalogue of Life China contributes batch of species from animalian classes Crinoidea, Bivalvia, Gastropoda, Adenophorea, Polychaeta, Malacostraca, Maxillopoda and Insecta (order Coleoptera); from plant phyla Bryophyta, Pteridophyta & Magnoliophyta; from chromistan phylum Labyrinthista and protozoan class Acantharia to fill temporarily gaps in global Catalogue of Life at lower levels of the taxonomic classification (e.g. species, genera).
